As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional bookkeeping services to our clients. Your expertise in cloud technology and innovative thinking will enable us to streamline work and provide timely support.

About the Role

This full-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, builds strong relationships, and thrives in a well-organised environment. You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, overseeing their bookkeeping, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client communication and relationships
  • End-to-end bookkeeping including BAS and IAS lodgements
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Monthly/quarterly review of accounts and reporting
  • Reviewing the work of other team members and providing feedback
  • Identifying opportunities for streamlining and automation

We're looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Proven skills across BAS, IAS, payroll, super, Workcover, payroll tax, AP/AR
  • Experience reviewing and managing other team members' work
  • Highly tech-savvy with a proven ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly and efficiently
  • Strong understanding of Xero and confidence with new systems
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
