Craft unique furniture while empowering trainees through hands-on mentorship in a community-driven workshop.

We're on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Furniture Maker & Workshop Mentor to join our team. This isn't just a job - it's a chance to create bespoke pieces while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of trainees in the workshop.
  • Interpreting architectural and technical drawings to bring designs to life.
  • Using a wide range of tools to create high-quality pieces.
  • Managing timelines and collaborating with the broader team to deliver projects.
  • Championing values and maintaining a safe, clean, and inspiring workspace.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualifications in Cabinetmaking, Joinery, Shopfitting, or Furniture Making.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in furniture production and finishing.
  • Proven leadership in a workshop setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • OH&S White Card, NT Driver's License (or ability to obtain), and willingness to travel.
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office and workshop planning.
