Job Overview

As a skilled bid developer, you will craft high-quality, compelling submissions that support business growth.

You will work closely with teams across the organization to produce standout proposals, coordinating the submission process and bringing strong writing skills to create engaging client communications, capability statements, and supporting materials that align with our brand and commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, proven experience developing and delivering tender submissions or business proposals, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

They will also possess strong commercial awareness and business acumen, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the entire bid/submission process from inception to completion
  • Write and edit clear, concise, and persuasive content for tenders, client letters, presentations, fact sheets, and capability statements
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of language, tone, formatting, and layout across all submission materials
  • Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and internal processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and locations to gather insights, case studies, data, and technical input
  • Translate technical and operational information into compelling narratives aligned to the value proposition
  • Produce content tailored to client needs, addressing specifications and telling a persuasive story
  • Create polished documents using templates and brand guidelines
  • Develop and manage project plans, including meetings, briefings, site visits, and registrations
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance submission quality and strategy
  • Coordinate and maintain content libraries, templates, archives, and submission documentation
Requirements:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing and delivering tender submissions or business proposals
  • Strong copywriting ability to craft persuasive and professional content
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail with excellent formatting and document presentation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Confident working with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend solutions and improvements
