About the Role

This is a strategic leadership position commencing Term 4, 2025 with possible extension.

We are seeking a passionate educator who provides student services to support whole-school improvement aligned with our school's vision and strategic direction.

The successful applicant will collaborate with the principal and leadership team to implement whole-school approaches to wellbeing, behaviour, attendance and inclusion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills to lead, coach and mentor staff, families and external agencies.
  • Oversee student attendance, working closely with the School Based Attendance Office to monitor student attendance, implement strategies and improve overall school attendance.
  • Support the school's Positive Behaviour Support framework, and social and emotional learning programs.
  • Work closely with the Learning Support Coordinator, providing guidance and leadership to ensure effective implementation of inclusive education practice throughout the school.
  • Support case management processes and coordinate support for Students At Educational Risk (SAER) students through internal and external services.
  • Build staff capacity to understand and apply trauma-informed and inclusive strategies tailored to the developmental and emotional needs of K–6 students.
  • Support staff in creating safe and regulated learning environments that respond to the diverse needs of students.
  • Support the daily organisation of the school and contribute to whole school events and initiatives as required.
