Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary academic leader to spearhead our social prescribing initiatives, driving innovative solutions that translate research into real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dynamic, collaborative research program across multiple disciplines, connecting expertise with community needs to enhance outcomes.
  • Spearhead cross-disciplinary research initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships to elevate SCU's priorities and create opportunities for student research.
  • Attract competitive research funding, expanding research reach and securing long-term growth.
  • Design and implement evaluation frameworks for social prescribing initiatives, promoting collaborative research projects with global partners.
  • Build strategic relationships and engage with the community and key stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships.
Requirements:
  • A PhD in a health or social sciences field, with current or eligibility for unconditional registration with the relevant regulatory body.
  • National and international recognition for exceptional research and leadership, with a clear ability to drive growth and development in both research and business opportunities.
  • A proven track record of leadership in research education, developing and mentoring teams to success and managing projects with entrepreneurial vision and intellectual leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage a powerful network of industry professionals, with deep insight into health systems and policy.
  • An outstanding record of securing competitive external research funding and leading multidisciplinary research teams with a focus on sustainability and impact.
