We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to join our team at the Karara Export Terminal in Geraldton, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and participate in the overall planning and execution of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Provide expert technical knowledge on Process Control Systems, standards, and specialized maintenance for plant improvement and maintenance projects to stakeholders, including Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians.
- Develop and maintain the Process Control System, identifying improvement opportunities while maintaining associated documentation and control system procedures.
- Configure and maintain Fieldbus equipment on Control-net, Profibus DP and PA networks, utilizing protocols such as MODBUS/TCP, DNP3, RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, and EGD (inter-PLC communications).
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the Plant Historian and associated software packages contributing to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
