Job Title: Factory Hand

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive individual to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing products in a timely manner, safely loading and unloading products, and working to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in accordance with company health and safety policies, including manual handling training to lift, carry and load products safely
  • Processing products in a timely manner
  • Safely loading and unloading products, providing special care in handling fragile products
  • Working to deadlines
  • Working professionally in a team with colleagues and management
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area at all times
  • Reporting any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Physical fitness for heavy lifting
  • Recent references
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of correct manual handling practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Steel capped footwear required
  • Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills - both verbal and written

Work Schedule:

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm

Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30pm - 6:30am

Pay Rate: $33.11 per hour (day shift), $39.74 per hour (afternoon shift), $42.39 per hour (night shift)
