Moderna is solidifying its presence in Clayton, a key site for our global manufacturing network. Our Clayton facility represents a vital hub in the production of our mRNA vaccines, ensuring timely and high-quality supply to meet global health demands. We're seeking dedicated professionals to join us at this technologically advanced site and help shape the future of biotech manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Operating mRNA vaccine production equipment in full compliance with cGMP and Moderna's safety standards
  • Practicing safe work habits and maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in assigned areas
  • Executing operational activities per SOPs and approved manufacturing documentation
  • Conducting routine digital troubleshooting of equipment and reporting issues to leads
  • Maintaining training records and ensuring documentation is up to date
  • Performing basic mechanical maintenance tasks such as lubrication, checks, and filter changes
  • Supporting the closure of QA documentation to enable timely batch disposition

  • Participating in investigations of deviations (RCA) and CAPA implementation
  • Identifying compliance or safety issues and proactively communicating with supervisors
  • Contributing to multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Engaging collaboratively in a cross-functional matrixed environment
  • Demonstrating adaptability to work off-hours or overtime when required
  • Applying performance tools and teamwork to meet and exceed operational KPIs
  • Maintaining a mindset of innovation and excellence aligned with corporate goals and commercial demand

What You'll Bring To The Table
  • Typically, 3-5+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
  • A college degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent
  • Aseptic experience, Visual Inspection and PFS knowledge
  • Experience in audit / inspection preparation, understanding Health authority and regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, leadership and cross-functional support groups required
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills required
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated commitment to Moderna's values of Bold, Collaborative, Curious, and Relentless, embodying these values in the workplace
  • This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna's site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
