About the Role

This position involves developing and implementing community events and programs designed to enhance mental health literacy and community awareness of challenges faced by people with mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate and evaluate a range of community activities and programs aimed at improving mental health knowledge and community awareness.
  • Collaborate closely with our clinical team to understand the services provided, advocating for these services within the wider community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma qualification in mental health or relevant discipline
  • Experience in a similar role working with individuals with mental health concerns
  • Proven ability to plan, develop and deliver high-quality educational and community programs
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work creatively, collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using IT, including social media and website maintenance
  • Strong verbal communication and written skills, including grant writing
  • Eligibility to apply for WWCC and NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Current Driver's License
