Energy Storage Engineer Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Energy Storage Engineer. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving residential and commercial energy storage systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and technical knowledge, with experience in energy storage systems engineering. You will be responsible for applying engineering principles to support the development and improvement of energy storage systems, including inverters, battery packs, and safety components.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing existing technologies and proposing modifications to enhance product performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
  • Conducting engineering testing and validation of product reliability, thermal performance, and functional safety.
  • Implementing technical solutions into projects and production processes, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
  • Providing technical support for project implementation, customer applications, and field operations.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, engineering reports, and process flow charts in accordance with company requirements.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) with 3-5 years of experience in energy storage systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB, CAD) and knowledge of manufacturing and quality control are essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent English communication abilities, are required.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and experience in regulatory compliance are important.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and participation in industry training is expected.
  • Project management skills, a proactive approach, and attention to detail are also necessary.
