Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Analyst to join our Special Investigations team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in BSA/AML investigations and operations in relevant financial crimes, transaction monitoring, and investigation roles.

The successful candidate will help support the team by analyzing blockchain data to identify potential illicit activities, money laundering, and terrorist financing involving cryptocurrencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough investigations of complex AML cases, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Analyze data to identify process gaps and opportunities for risk mitigation.
  3. Evaluate AML transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting requirements globally.
  4. Collaborate with external partners, including financial institutions and government agencies, to share intelligence and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in BSA/AML investigations and operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, risks, and controls implementation globally.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency protocols.
  • Experience working independently and with dispersed teams covering multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
