Support Services Specialist

Job Description: As a Support Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting equality and inspiring open hearts. You will be working with individuals who have experienced homelessness, providing wrap-around support to assist with housing retention and quality of life improvements.

Key Responsibilities: Provide developmental support interventions to enable clients to address their needs, delivering daily living supports such as accompanying clients to appointments.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, work experience, or lived experience; ability to engage with individuals at different needs levels and build professional relationships; independent work skills and team contribution; positive behaviours, emotional maturity, coping skills, and resilience; good interpersonal and communication skills; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and client reporting systems; willingness to contribute to the organisation's vision, mission, core values, and guiding principles; knowledge and understanding of diversity, gender, and social inclusion, particularly Aboriginal culture.

Compliance Documents: Current driver's license; Working with Children Check; National Police Certificate; First Aid Certificate.
