**Position Available**: Support Worker (Casual)

**Location**: Perth Metropolitan Area

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Personal Care
- Domestic Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Administering Medication
- Laundry Assistance
- Transportation for Appointments, Shopping, and Social Activities
- Collaboratively developing and implementing improvement plans with clients
- Providing physical and emotional support as needed

**Essential Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support and Ageing or relevant certification
- Current or willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transportation
- COVID-19 Training Module
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Own mobile phone
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- NDIS Training Module
- Work rights in Australia

**Desired Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Applicants with more than 2 years of experience working with autistic clients and challenging behaviors will be considered**:

- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Understanding of boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality
- Loyalty, honesty, and reliability
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to plan and organize activities for clients
- Protective and outgoing personality
- Experience in engaging with challenging clients

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $27.18 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
