Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Nurse to join our team, working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to work from home or use our office in North Ryde. Ideal applicants have availability across Monday to Saturday and can start at either 8:00am or 12:00pm AEST.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general veterinary reception support, including booking appointments and triage calls.
  • Answer phone inquiries, respond to website inquiries, and manage client reminders.
  • Support online bookings and provide high-quality customer service.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Clinically experienced and passionate about customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
  • Confident in making accurate triage decisions over the phone.
  • Working knowledge of RxWorks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed processes.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Benefits

Remuneration is aligned with the Veterinary Nurse Award Wage. The ideal candidate will be available to start in September, with two weeks of full-time training or three weeks of part-time training.

Work Arrangements

This is a hybrid/remote-based role with the option to work from home. If located in Sydney, you may also use our office in North Ryde.
