Senior Mechanical Piping Designer Opportunity
">We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Piping Designer to join our Brisbane team. As a key member of our multidiscipline engineering and project delivery firm, you will play a critical role in delivering practical, high-value solutions for complex processing projects.
">- Create detailed models and technical drawings in line with industry standards and internal procedures
- Lead and facilitate design reviews across multi-discipline teams
- Develop practical layout solutions with a strong focus on efficiency and constructability
- Monitor design progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets
- Collaborate daily with engineers, project managers, clients, and designers
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members
- Maintain a high standard of safety in both design and day-to-day practice
What You'll Need to Succeed:
">To be successful in this role, you will need experience in piping/mechanical design for mining, mineral, or metals projects. You will also require a Certificate III or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting (advantageous) and proficiency in MicroStation design software (highly regarded). Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

">This is a 3-month contract role, with a possibility of extension. The hourly rate is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
