Role Overview

The Supply Chain team at Nike, Inc. is the driving force behind the distribution of our products globally. Our experts ensure that nearly a billion shoes, apparel, and equipment reach their destinations accurately each year. To manage this complex task seamlessly, the supply chain teams collaborate with over 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and numerous retail locations worldwide. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Supply and Inventory Planner, you will be instrumental in achieving and maintaining optimal inventory levels that allow Nike Pacific to meet revenue and margin objectives aligned with our financial strategies and marketplace goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory health while identifying risks and opportunities, balancing both short and long-term objectives. Your ability to convey compelling narratives through your analyses, insights, and recommendations will influence key stakeholders.

What You Will Focus On

In this position, you will lead initiatives aimed at optimizing inventory to maximize financial performance, margin, and profitability across various business channels and product lines. Working alongside a seasoned team, you will ensure precision in the monthly inventory forecasts, enhancing visibility across short, medium, and long-term planning horizons.

Your daily activities will involve engaging with cross-functional partners to promote healthy end-to-end inventory through collaboration, presentation, and influencing skills. You will monitor metrics such as targeted End to End Weeks of Supply, Close Out %, and Unallocated %. Evaluating financial, operational, and consumer trade-offs will be essential in making informed decisions.

Collaboration and Reporting

You will report directly to the Inventory Operations Director and work closely with teams including Nike Direct, Marketplace Partners, Enterprise Business Planning/Performance Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Marketplace Operations, as well as Supply and Inventory partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in inventory management, supply chain, operations, supply planning, or finance.
  • Ability to understand retail KPIs and leverage data analytics to identify critical inventory drivers and root causes.
  • Proven success in influencing others, leading change, and achieving business outcomes through effective storytelling to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and strong problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones as needed.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required; familiarity with Think-Cell, TM1 applications, Cognos BI tool, Cognos Planning Analytics, SAP, Tableau, and O9 is desirable.
