The Royal Women's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to support the embedding of the Strengthening Hospital Responses to Family Violence (SHRFV) initiative. As a key member of the Women's Family Violence team, you will play a critical role in leading metropolitan and rural health services to complete the implementation of SHRFV.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance on the continued maintenance of SHRFV, including preparation for a sustainability and maintenance model.
- Contribute clinical expertise in the implementation of SHRFV, antenatal screening, and Information Sharing for Hospitals and Integrated Health Services.
- Produce and deliver high-quality training materials to build capacity and capability in line with SHRFV.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to project queries and information requests related to SHRFV.
- Assist with the maintenance of the Prevention of Violence Against Women Clinical Champion Network at the Women's and work to embed the sustainability of the network statewide.
- Promote and support the embedding of the Information Sharing Schemes and identify gaps or problems to inform necessary practice changes.
- A degree in a health-related discipline (Social Work, Psychology, or similar) with an additional qualification in training and assessment.
- Knowledge and understanding of sensitive and complex issues affecting women's health policy and service delivery in the Victorian context.
- Experience delivering training and community education and developing resources to support clinical practice.
- A collaborative and supportive work environment.
