The Opportunity

At Seqirus, we're committed to protecting public health through the development and manufacture of innovative vaccines and pharmaceuticals. As a Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving our Engineering Project Delivery team's success, overseeing project scope, quality, time, budget, and resources to exceed project goals throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Projects Manager or Portfolio Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring a team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Overseeing key engineering and supply contracts, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Implementing quality management systems, procedures, and risk management strategies.
  • Managing capital projects adhering to the Project Management Methodologies.
  • Preparing essential project management documents and coordinating the preparation and administration of purchase orders.
  • Developing specifications, drawings, and other documentation for tenders and contracts.
  • Planning and coordinating plant shutdown activities, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Directing construction activities, developing operational documents, and creating maintenance manuals.
  • Managing budget plans, controlling schedules, and resource plans.
  • Ensuring projects are managed in compliance with GMP and actively managing the risk of non-compliance.
Your Experience

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of Engineering and/or Project Management experience, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of process and engineering systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in the construction industry, contractor management, and safety management.
  • Willingness to travel to other Seqirus locations, including Woodend.
