About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist to join our team and protect our applications from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security assessments and identify vulnerabilities in our applications.
  • Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines to prevent security breaches.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular security audits and risk assessments of our applications and systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure we have the most effective protection measures in place.
  • Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices and procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Security Specialist or related role, with a strong understanding of application security best practices and frameworks.
  • Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques, including knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with web application security tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP are highly regarded, but not essential.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and agile company that values innovation and collaboration.
