
Learning Enhancement Director

This role is a leadership position that plays a crucial part in driving the development of learning strategies and programs aimed at enhancing academic performance and fostering growth for each student.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team responsible for developing and implementing learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students with special needs, including gifted, EAL & SLD students.
- Facilitate year 6 transition meetings to ensure a smooth transition of support for students.
- Develop professional learning opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Work closely with the teaching and learning team to analyze data from Edutest & PAT assessments.
- Respond to parents'/teachers' concerns regarding academic matters and, where necessary, administer standardized assessments to determine levels of adjustment.
- Oversee the creation of personalized learning documentation by the team, based on data and specialist reports.
- Manage resources and prioritize student needs, allocating staffing and resources accordingly.
- Report to senior leadership on the learning enhancement program and student achievement.
- Manage the annual NCCD reporting process and facilitate applications for NAPLAN exemptions.
- Be highly organized and efficient with administrative tasks.
- Be capable, fluent, and empathetic in communication.
- Focus on meeting the individual learning needs of every student regardless of ability.
- Be willing to work collaboratively as part of a team to meet student needs.
- Provide innovative and purposeful learning experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in this field.
- Be adaptable in response to shifting priorities.
- Possess an appropriate tertiary qualification in education.
- Hold a postgraduate qualification in special education and/or challenge.
- Current VIT registration is required.
- Qualification and first aid training confirmation are also required.
