Speech Pathologist Role Overview

This part-time role involves delivering high-quality speech pathology services and programs, including assessment and ongoing management of dysphagia, language, and speech. The successful candidate will work with individuals aged 65 years and over in a person-centered approach.

The position requires the ability to work autonomously, prioritizing and completing tasks, maintaining records, and providing patient reports. Collaboration with clinicians is essential to develop innovative and progressive care plans that aim to promote independence and wellbeing of patients.

A key aspect of this role is working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide a supportive environment for clients. The successful candidate will be provided with support from our home care team who will schedule appointments and plan an efficient route.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our people. Key requirements include a current driver's license, a speech pathology degree accredited by Speech Pathology Australia, Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist status, and a recent National Police Certificate within the last three years.
