Job Overview

Fugro is seeking a highly experienced Geologist/Geoscientist to lead technical teams in projects, providing expert advice on geo-data analysis and interpretation.

The Role Involves:

  • Leading project teams, delegating tasks, guiding team members, and reviewing calculations and reports for accuracy;
  • Project Managing Marine Consulting Projects from inception to completion;
  • Developing and reviewing technical proposals and reports in a timely manner;
  • Acting as primary liaison between the project team and clients, handling technical communications;
  • Contributing to project development and identifying new markets;
  • Authoring papers, participating in technical development, and advancing expertise in designated areas.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience (8-10 years) as a consulting Geologist or Geoscientist Engineer within the offshore industry;
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in geology/engineering geology/geoscience/geophysics or a related discipline;
  • Creativity and ability to think innovatively when solving complex problems;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary project teams.
