Digital Development Leadership Role

Key Objective: Our organization is seeking a skilled Digital Development Manager to drive the success of our engineering teams within the digital platform.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, promoting best practice and consistent development outcomes addressing quality, testing, security, and documentation.
  • Identify innovative ways of working to enhance technology delivery and development services, leading the ongoing development of existing applications and the design and delivery of new applications across the organization.
  • Regularly assess system performance, conduct diagnostics, and implement optimizations to ensure efficient operation and response times.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team on solutioning & long-term engineering strategy, designing for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Establish standards for code quality, security, and platform stability, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals and client needs.
  • Partner with product, design, and data teams to drive the development of new features for our core insurance platform.
  • Support and guide the team in incident response and troubleshooting, focusing on robust monitoring and logging.

This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from either Brisbane (Strathpine) or Sydney (Rhodes), with a hybrid work model.
