Senior Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our digital transformation efforts. This individual will be responsible for driving the success of our engineering teams within the Digital Platform, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards.
About the RoleThis key position involves leading, mentoring, and growing a team of engineers supporting various applications across the domain. The successful candidate will identify new ways of working to improve technology delivery and development services, and lead the ongoing development of existing applications and the design and delivery of new applications.
- Leading and mentoring a team of software developers, championing best practice and consistent development outcomes addressing quality, testing, security, and documentation.
- Identifying new ways of working to improve technology delivery and development services, and leading the ongoing development of existing applications and the design and delivery of new applications.
- Regularly assessing system performance, conducting diagnostics, and implementing optimizations to ensure efficient operation and response times.
- Working with Architecture team on solutioning & long-term engineering strategy, designing for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Setting standards for code quality, security, and platform stability, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with product, design, and data teams to drive the development of new features for our core insurance platform.
