Job Opportunity in Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled critical care emergency trained nurse to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical support, education and leadership to staff.

The role includes:

  • Providing contemporary education that promotes best practice standards
  • Clinical support to staff of all proficiency levels novice to expert
  • Demonstrating and promoting expertise and best practice standards
  • Working collaboratively with the leadership team including the multi-disciplinary team

About us: The Emergency Department (ED) sees approximately 70,000 emergency presentations annually and is a mixed ED seeing both adults and paediatrics. We have a dynamic team environment where no two days will be the same.

You will thrive on the challenge of working in a fast-paced setting and being supported by highly skilled Nursing, Medical, Allied Health and Administrative teams. You will also have the opportunity to grow and mentor our nursing professionals as they develop their passion, skill and drive in emergency nursing.

Key Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in Emergency Nursing (Minimum five years)
  • Minimum graduate certificate qualification in Emergency Nursing
