Overview Emergency Vet Nurse - Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE)As an Emergency and Critical Care nurse at CARE, you will work with a dedicated and knowledgeable team of experienced vets and nurses to care for the broad range of cases we see in our busy Emergency departmentResponsibilities Providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage through their CARE journey.
Assisting with anaesthesia/procedures and surgery, performing diagnostic sample collection and processing tests and communicating with pet owners, providing guidance, addressing their questions, and offering support during highly emotional times.
Qualifications Qualified Cert IV veterinary nurse with at least 2+ years' experience, ideally in emergency or a busy GP clinic.
Employment details Role is available Part-time or Full-time; a combination of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
Remuneration is generous and includes significant shift loading for all shifts outside of weekday daytime hours.
