Technical Support Specialist - Providing Exceptional Service Experience

About the Role

This role involves providing technical support to staff across multiple locations, ensuring seamless access to ICT systems and resolving issues efficiently. Strong communication and analytical skills are required, along with a passion for delivering exceptional service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff, troubleshooting and resolving ICT-related issues in a timely manner
  • Develop knowledge articles, automate processes, and provide staff education/training to improve support efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure the ICT environment remains compliant with industry best practices and ITIL service management standards
  • Support and maintain ICT assets and services, ensuring end-user needs are met
  • Identify, coordinate, and deliver ICT improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
  • Provide on-call 24-hour support for one week every six weeks (additional allowances apply)
  • Travel within QLD and NSW as required
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in Information Technology or similar field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in ICT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk, and Customer Service
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and fault/problem resolution
  • Confident communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-focused approach
  • Understanding of ITIL Framework and IT Service Management
  • Working knowledge of ICT Procurement and Asset Management practices, Office 365, ServiceNow, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge/experience within Health or Aviation advantageous but not essential
