About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary Autism Assessment Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments and reports for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide detailed reports for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder.
- Collaborate with other clinical disciplines to provide high-quality, multi-disciplinary assessments.
- Provide consultation to other clinicians, both within our organization and from other organizations as required.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder.
Requirements
- Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Certified Practising status with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Preferred experience with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disorders, including knowledge of typical and atypical childhood development.
- Preferred experience in a multidisciplinary ASD assessment team, with the ability to conduct diagnostic assessments, provide feedback, and write detailed reports.
