Senior Healthcare Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team at one of our residential aged care facilities in the Cairns region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Deliver high-quality clinical assessments through a comprehensive and resident-focused process.\
  • Collaborate with staff, residents, and families to achieve person-centred outcomes.\
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering trust and communication.\
  • Lead and support care staff in delivering exceptional care services.\
  • Manage medication in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.\
  • Contribute to operational duties and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.\
  • Work towards achieving outstanding results.\

What We're Looking For:

  • \
  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.\
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.\
  • A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and promoting their wellbeing.\
  • Proficiency in computer systems.\
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.\
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and AN-ACC processes is highly regarded.\
  • A valid police check clearance.\
  • Full Australian Working rights.\
