Committed to the responsible development of their critical minerals assets, Rock People Pty Ltd is now looking for a Critical Minerals Sustainability Specialist to join their team in North Queensland.

This permanent opportunity is offered on an 8/6 FIFO-roster from Cairns or Townsville (Brisbane-based FIFO may be considered for the right candidate) with an attractive remuneration package including incentives. The estimated salary for this role is approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Critical Minerals Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for further developing and influencing the environmental framework of the organisation while also directly leading your site-based team to responsibly enable effective and safe ongoing environmental management, monitoring and optimisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fit-for-purpose management plans that align with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Manage environmental monitoring, approvals, investigations and reporting;
  • Lead and manage site-based teams to ensure effective and safe environmental management;
