Job Role Overview
The role of Housing Services Officer is critical in supporting the delivery of housing services to individuals and families.
Housing Services Officers work closely with clients, community workers, and organizations to provide client-centered services and promote wellbeing.
This role involves a range of tasks related to tenancy and property management, as well as providing housing advice and assistance.
Key responsibilities include assessing clients' needs, advising on housing options, preparing routine cases, and representing the department at tribunals.
Key Accountabilities- Assess clients' needs and advise on suitable housing options based on established policies and procedures.
- Prepare and manage routine cases according to set guidelines and represent the department at tribunal hearings.
- Implement early intervention strategies to sustain tenancies and prevent issues arising.
