Maintenance Operations Coordinator

Maintaining the integrity of our hospital infrastructure, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring exceptional patient care through high-performing, safe, and reliable facilities are key responsibilities for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and coordinate repair of hospital plant, equipment, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning.
- Manage and prioritize work orders using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Lead and guide internal trade staff and contractors to ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met.
- Assist with minor works projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in facilities management.
- Maintain accurate asset records and documentation to support informed decision-making.
- Build strong working relationships across clinical, engineering, and capital works teams to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building services is essential, ideally within healthcare or similarly complex environments.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills are required to navigate fast-paced settings and resolve complex issues.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial for success in this role.
- A technical qualification or trade background in a relevant field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, building services) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is necessary to manage and prioritize work orders efficiently.
