Job Title: Intake Officer

CPL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intake Officer to join our Mylestones team in Teneriffe. As an Intake Officer, you will play a critical role in coordinating and completing participant intakes within designated Employment Service Areas, providing people with disabilities a pathway to open employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the intake of all participants, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Conduct assessments of participants' needs and suitability for services, ensuring compliance with Disability Support Services (DSS) contractual obligations.
  • Develop initial Job Plans, addressing barriers to employment and ensuring positive outcomes for participants.
  • Liaise with schools and disability providers to ensure referrals and commencements meet eligibility requirements.
  • Build positive networks and relationships with disability employment-related organizations.
Selection Criteria:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.
  • Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems.
  • Working knowledge of Disability Employment Services (DES) Eligibility Criteria.
  • Highly effective communication, networking, and rapport-building skills.
  • Preferred previous experience with the intake process of participants into a DES Program and matching to employment staff.
