Renewable Energy Project Engineer

The Snowy 2.0 project is a flagship renewable energy initiative aiming to deliver on-demand power and large-scale storage for future generations.

We are seeking experienced project engineers to join our team in Cooma, AU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop construction methods, programs and safe work methods statements (SWMS) for assigned packages
  • Lead the delivery of stage 2 excavation, ground support and fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) works while coordinating with the wider project team
  • Oversee the development and implementation of construction methods onsite in consultation with the senior project engineer and construction superintendent
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or mining engineering
  • White Card
  • Driver's License
  • Minimum 5-years' experience working in the civil construction industry on large-scale projects
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Competence in interpreting and explaining technical schedules and documentation
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and time
