
Administrative Officer

As a Payroll and Administration professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for career development in the Payroll function.
Key Responsibilities- Process full-function payroll for approximately 900 weekly (Award) and monthly (Non-Award) paid employees using PeopleSoft 9.2
- Manage day-to-day payroll functions including data processing, overtime calculations, ad hoc manual payments, and manager/employee queries
- Maintain employee details in PeopleSoft 9.2 Time and Labour and Global Payroll modules
- Deliver effective customer service for pay queries and timely resolutions
- Adhere to process, procedures, and policies set by Boeing Aerostructures Australia
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, IT, and Finance teams as required
- Manage expat payroll
- Provide general administration support as needed
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Interest in developing a Payroll career; prior experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills across diverse workforces
- Proactive and results-oriented approach
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
Preferred Qualifications- Qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline preferred but not essential
