Role Overview

This opportunity enables you to develop your clinical expertise in a state-of-the-art environment. With 486 beds and 14 theatres, including hybrid facilities, our hospital provides an extensive setting for skill growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic support in the Interventional Suite, Labour ward, and Radiology Department
  • Contribute to Preadmission Clinics, Acute Pain Service, and Clinical Emergency Response Service (CERs)

Senior medical staff will oversee your responsibilities to ensure alignment with your experience level and adherence to ANZCA guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrate at least two years of clinical practice as a registered medical practitioner, with progress towards career goals in Anaesthetics or Critical Care
  • Have a minimum of one year's experience in Anaesthetics
  • Exhibit ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical setting, utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment, and expertise
  • Commit to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management, and possess a sound understanding of legal and ethical obligations governing medical practice
  • Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills in a multidisciplinary clinical context
