
Clinical Development Specialist

As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the introduction of innovative medical technologies to patients in need. By collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individual lives.
The primary focus of this position is to provide field and remote clinical, technical, and educational support in Electrophysiology (EP) to assigned accounts across Australia and New Zealand. This includes demonstrating clinical expertise to influence superior outcomes and providing training and guidance to customers on company products.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical support, including basic troubleshooting and guidance, to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
- Develop a deep technical understanding of company products and provide training to Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, and Nurses.
- Travel as required to meet customer demand for services.
- Attend cases face-to-face or remotely with customers, operating Boston Scientific products where appropriate, and providing detailed training and advice to physicians on clinical attributes and techniques associated with electrophysiology products.
- Develop a deep understanding of hospital workflows and business relationships with hospital personnel to ensure products are trained and utilized in accordance with Directions for Use.
- Ensure timely collection and reporting of medical documentation pertaining to procedural device operation.
- Respond to complex customer needs and complaints by developing creative solutions or working with other personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Record customer information and activities in the company's CRM system.
- Complete relevant administration, including reporting, stock validations, and inventory management.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote products and services.
- Be available to support the broader ANZ Rhythm Management business on an as-needs basis.
- Previous clinical case experience within electrophysiology/rhythm management is essential.
- Strong technical and clinical skills are required.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships is necessary.
- Ability to absorb complex technical information and apply it in the field is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in preferred disciplines, including biomedical engineering and science-related fields, are desired.
- Exposure and understanding of conventional EP and ability to interpret EP signals are required.
- Desired qualifications include IBHRE EP and IBHRE Pacing.
