Job Description:

You will report into the Project Leadership team and manage the Projects team, working closely with other internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain high compliance to the PMP process across the region, and be heavily involved in project reviews, kickoffs, bid sign offs, and sales handover.

Ensure the team operates safely, adhering to the values of the business.

You will lead KPIs including safety performance, human resources, financial management, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety performance – lead and lag indicators focused hazard identification and risk assessment, incident severity, and proactive initiatives.
  • Human Resources – staff retention, employee satisfaction through GPTW initiative, and internal promotion.
  • Financial Management – P&L to budget, debtors, and cash flow.
  • Project Performance – projects on or better than budget, minimising reduction in margin.

Requirements:

You must possess complex industrial automation project delivery experience, ideally in Electro-Mechanical nature, particularly in Baggage Handling Systems or similar.

Leadership experience in people with a technical profile is essential, along with the ability to develop relationships from scratch, exceptional key stakeholder management.

You should also have the ability to lead operational and maintenance personnel to achieve objectives, sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes, contractual and commercial issues, project scheduling, and planning.

PMP Certification and Engineering related tertiary or diploma education are required.
