You will play an important role in assisting individuals to return to wellness, work, and ultimately experience an improved quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing client needs, developing strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities;
- Engaging in formal and experiential training to develop the skills you need to feel competent and confident in your role;
- Performing assessments such as initial assessments, functional capacity assessments, early intervention, home, worksite and ergonomic assessments, as well as vocational assessments;
- Building rapport with key stakeholders throughout the process including the ill or injured individual, their treating health practitioners, employers and insurers.
