Key Infrastructure Project Lead

Wamarra is seeking a skilled and experienced project leader to spearhead our key infrastructure projects across transport, defense, and renewables. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to support the expansion of Wamarra in regional NSW.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring effective communication among team members.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to address issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Several years of experience in leading and delivering similar style of projects greater than $5mil.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and familiarity with methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management and reporting.
