IT Infrastructure Project Manager

The company is seeking an experienced ITIL Infrastructure Specialist to lead the planning, design and implementation of all IT infrastructure projects within the IT Infrastructure department.

About the Role:

  • Implement and review agreed IT infrastructure systems, processes and procedures
  • Derive solutions from business and technical requirements for systems and projects
  • Deliver projects to support the capacity and lifecycle requirements plan and regularly liaise with project control groups and sponsors
  • Ensure awareness of industry trends and developments to drive future direction of infrastructure
  • Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommend countermeasures where required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Linux, Windows, Networking and VMWare Virtualisation
  • Experience with capacity planning and management
  • Experience planning disaster recovery and implementing infrastructure projects
  • Certification in ITIL with focus on Service Design and Service Transition highly desirable
  • Certification in infrastructure technologies highly desirable
