Comminution Engineering Opportunity

This exciting role offers a unique chance to provide technical guidance and take responsibility for minerals processing equipment across the APAC region.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, providing technical support to resolve complaints and increase satisfaction. They will troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, coordinate field testing, and propose technical solutions for upgrades, repairs, and reconditioning.

A strong understanding of production processes and ability to analyze field data are essential in this role. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers worldwide to resolve complaints and increase satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), coordinate field testing, and propose technical solutions for upgrades, repairs, and reconditioning.
  • Analyze production processes and monitor field data to identify wear on equipment components and suggest efficiency and optimization improvements.
  • Handle Customer Non-Conformities (NCs) from the point of machine handover to the customer.
  • Coordinate, organize, and analyze technical customer queries to provide optimal solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree – mechanical or electrical.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with minerals processing equipment or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Proficiency in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
