As a seasoned operations leader, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the property's operational excellence, energy efficiency, and sustainability performance.

The position demands a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You will serve as the cornerstone for all technical aspects of the building, from day-to-day operations to long-term capital planning and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive initiatives to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability
  • Manage capital works projects to enhance the property's infrastructure
  • Ensure optimal tenant comfort by overseeing critical building systems
Technical Services Management:
  • Oversee and update scopes for critical technical services
  • Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with regulations
Capital Works Planning and Financial Management:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive capital works plan for the property
  • Identify and prioritize necessary upgrades and replacements
  • Prepare detailed business cases and secure financial approvals
Liaison between Property Management and Technical Experts:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the site property management team and external consultants and engineers
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders
Technical Advisory Role:
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on all technical queries related to the property
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices
Team Leadership and Support:
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the Senior Facilities Manager and other site team members
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the technical knowledge of the site team
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure all engineering operations comply with relevant local and national regulations
  • Develop and maintain risk management strategies for all technical systems
Vendor and Contract Management:
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers
  • Negotiate and oversee contracts for technical services and maintenance
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on engineering operations, energy performance, and sustainability initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical systems and procedures
