SAP Reporting & Analytics Lead Consultant: A High-Profile Role in the IT Sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and re-engineering complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. They will utilize a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into clients' business environments and achieve desired outcomes.

Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support business development activities, including pre-sales tasks such as proposal creation.
  • Coach and assist members within the SAP practice in their career progress journey.
  • Lead project delivery teams throughout the client's transformation journey, which includes:
  • Conducting client-facing workshops by demonstrating sound functional and industry knowledge.
  • Designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions incorporating best practices.
  • Adeptly adopting and incorporating IBM's leading market tools and methodologies in engagements.
  • Designing and implementing cutting-edge architecture by showcasing broad knowledge of SAP solutions in the Reporting and Analytics space.
Required Expertise:
  • Sound functional knowledge in core process areas, including Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources.
  • Strong leadership skills, encompassing managing diverse stakeholders and technical teams while coordinating across engagement streams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 10 years delivering end-to-end SAP Reporting and Analytics solutions.
  • Functional background with solid relationships amongst senior stakeholders and comprehensive expertise in developing analytical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with core skills:
  • Data Warehousing solutions: SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, and Native HANA.
  • SAP Reporting tools: SAP Analytics Cloud, Embedded Analytics (Webdynpro Grid, Smart KPI, Review booklet), SAP Analytics for Office.
  • Programming skills: SAP ABAP CDS and SQL Development.
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with other cloud Data Warehouse solutions: Snowflake, Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Non-SAP Reporting and Analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Experience or exposure to Generative AI/Machine Learning use cases.
  • CERTIFICATIONS in this space.
  • Prior experience or ability to obtain security clearance is preferred.
