Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our spare parts department, you will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate parts advice, dispatch, and administrative services to our clients and their customers.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Identifying the correct spare parts to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Providing backup support for parts operations across multiple regions, including VIC/TAS, WA/SA/NT, QLD, and New Zealand
  • Offering expert advice on spare part products to customers
  • Collaborating with customers and other departments to maximize sales opportunities
  • Monitoring and optimizing parts processes, including stock control and inventory management
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external clients at all times
  • Procuring stock from suppliers, including the factory in Germany
  • Processing and invoicing internal and external customer sales orders
  • Analyzing transactional reports to identify exceptions and implement improvements
  • Participating in regular stocktake activities to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Liaising with service and sales personnel to ensure seamless coordination
  • Maintaining occupational health and safety standards in the workplace
  • Providing administrative support, including report development, correspondence, and record-keeping
  • Delivering on-the-job training as required
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
  • Reporting potential or known issues affecting product quality and services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced spare parts environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in literacy and numeracy
  • Able to determine and address customer needs effectively
  • Familiarity with lifting and working at heights equipment
  • Sales skills, including up-selling techniques
  • Report writing - technical
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • A commitment to self-development and professional growth
Estimated Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum
