Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Parts Specialist to join our team in Rockingham, WA.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate parts advice, dispatch, and administrative services to the Division and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To identify the correct spare parts to ensure the customer receives the goods in full and on time.
  • To provide backup support for parts operations in VIC/TAS, WA/SA/NT, QLD, and New Zealand.
  • To provide spare part product information to customers.
  • To work in conjunction with customers and other departments to maximise sales opportunities.
  • To monitor the effectiveness of parts processes including stock control and inventory.
  • To provide professional and timely customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • To order stock from suppliers, including the factory in Germany.
  • To process and invoicing of internal and external customer sales orders.
  • To run and check transactional reports to ensure exceptions are identified.
  • To participate in the preparation and conduct of regular stock take activities.
  • To liaise with service and sales personnel.
  • To comply with occupational health and safety requirements in the workplace.
  • To provision of timely and effective administrative services such as but not limited to: developing required reports and correspondence and maintenance of accurate records and files.
  • To provide on-the-job training as required.
  • To comply with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures.
  • To alerting the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of the company's products and services.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a fast-moving spare parts department.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Able to determine and address customer needs.
  • Ability to operate lifting and working at heights equipment.
  • Sales skills including up-selling techniques.
  • Report writing – technical.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Self-development (i.e. Technical and Behavioural competencies).
