Manufacturing Process Optimization Specialist

The primary role of the Process Quality Engineer is to drive lean initiatives, process validation activities, and special process qualifications.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and improving quality plans to ensure harmonized requirements of manufacturing processes and customer expectations
- Participating in cost reduction initiatives through Kaizen events, six sigma project support, engineering project leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Creating In-Process & Final Inspection Methods Sheets, conducting Gage R&R and Correlation Studies, and collaborating with Microsoft Suite and Statistical Process Control (SPC) Monitoring
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering and associate with 3 years relevant quality or manufacturing experience. A strong proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), familiarity with RTX and GE Aerospace requirements, understanding of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in compliance with aerospace customers, AS 9100 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, and knowledge and experience with First Piece, In-Process, and Final inspections and related equipment are highly valued.
