Industrial Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and quality.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean principles and process optimisation, as well as experience in fabrication, machining, and assembly operations.
  • They will be responsible for reviewing existing processes, implementing improvements, and collaborating with the Production Manager to plan capacity, workflow, and resource utilisation.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing lean strategies to enhance production flow
  • Optimizing material flow, layouts, and workstation design
  • Collaborating with the Production Manager to plan capacity and workflow
  • Analysing production issues and implementing sustainable solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with heavy engineering/manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of lean principles and process optimisation
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
