**Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness**

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, 35 hours per week. As a Caseworker, you'll work alongside young people and their families to help them overcome homelessness.

  • Casework Support: Deliver client-centred support to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • Building Relationships: Develop connections with local services, including accommodation providers, to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Referral and Advocacy: Assess and refer young people to appropriate services, including housing, mental health, employment, and educational support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external services, such as housing, mental health services, community housing providers, police, hospitals, and other relevant agencies to provide wrap-around support for young people.

About You:

  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • You have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by homeless youth and a commitment to delivering client-centered support.
  • You possess proven experience in casework, advocacy, and building strong, trusting relationships with young people.
  • You are able to work collaboratively with a range of services and community partners.
