Land Development Engineer

The role of a Land Development Engineer is crucial in designing and building the infrastructure for our launch pads.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing site feasibility and conceptual plans, including storm water management, grading, drainage, and utility design
  • Performing calculations for grading and drainage, stormwater control facilities, water quality, domestic water distribution, and underground utilities
  • Coordinating and designing necessary to obtain local, state, and federal permits for land development and utility construction projects
  • Managing civil aspects of construction projects, including quality control, conflict resolution, and coordination with contractors
  • Interacting with contractors, fabricators, owners, and internal clients to develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Resolving design and construction conflicts in real-time

A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting are required. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD/Civil3D is also essential.

Bachelor's degree in engineering requires students to complete coursework in subjects like mathematics, physics, and materials science. Additionally, hands-on training in laboratory settings helps develop practical skills.

Proficiency in software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD/Civil3D enables engineers to create detailed designs and models. These tools are widely used in the industry and are essential for producing high-quality work.
